Tre Amici means three friends because when three friends get together, anything is possible. When partners Albert, Brett, and Danielle, got together that’s exactly what happened.


Albert Doria comes from a big Italian family who came to America as children from Naples, Italy. In his early 20s he started working in the Fulton Fish market and he has been in the food industry for over 40 years. Most of his family are or have been restaurant owners, and it has always been a dream of his to own his own restaurant. Albert is one of the most experienced and talented fishmongers in the state, and no one has a better eye or love for great food and quality ingredients.


Danielle VanStone was born and raised in Beach Lake, and moved to Honesdale PA after graduating HHS in 2005. Danielle started in the service industry at Cherry Ridge Airport Cafe when she was 15 years old. She fell in love with the restaurant business, and has been doing it ever since. Danielle started as a server, helped in the kitchen, worked as a bartender, had the opportunity to manage several restaurants, and now finally fulfilled her dream owning her own restaurant.


Executive Chef Brett Burkle is a Narrowsburg native. He always knew his passion for the culinary arts would lead to achieving his childhood dream of owning his own restaurant. Brett attended the Culinary Institute of America, and has been cooking ever since. As a local of the town of Narrowsburg for the past 30 years, Brett’s familiarity and commitment to the local community has allowed him to immersed himself into the Sullivan County food industry. Brett’s experience and passion is what drives him and inspires him to create beautiful and delicious dishes. As the executive chef and partner Brett brings over a decade of culinary expertise to Sullivan county. Bretts menu at Tre Amici Ristorante Italiano celebrates bringing variety and richness of locally-sourced ingredients to amazing Italian food.


Tre Amici, or three friends, has decades of vast experience in the restaurant busines. We will be using local farms, bakeries, wineries, and distilleries, all to bring you the finest and freshest dishes. As a local business we wanted to create an atmosphere where you can be comfortable, and enjoy great food with great people.
